Less than 2 years old and I have to replace this sink. You wouldn’t think that you have to change out a kitchen sink except when you are doing a remodel, well don’t count on this one to last. All the write up about the sink having those grooves to facilitate quick draining, don’t believe it. This sink has many dead spots where water doesn’t drain and food particles get stuck. If you get this sink, plan on removing the bottom grate every time you use it and pushing the water to the drain. I’ve never seen anything like this. It’s horrible, don’t waste your money.,UPDATE: When they say customer service is a priority, they mean it. I had been having issues with this sink due to the slow draining and decided it was time to bite the bullet and replace the sink. I decided to write to Sarlai Home and let them know that I couldn’t deal with this issue any longer since it had not yet been 2 years since the purchase. I was surprised when I actually heard back from Sarlai with an offer of refund or replacement. I opted for the refund and received it within a few days. I would try their products again, I just hope they fix the draining issue. As for the workstation sink, it is great. Not sure why people think that the single bowl is to “hide dirty dishes” IT’S NOT! The large bowl fits all of my larger pans making cleanup easier. I don’t leave the basket or the cutting board out all the time so I have no issues with it being constantly wet. But when preparing a meal it’s nice to have it right over the sink to catch drips. And the drying rack is excellent for coffee cups etc. but obviously isn’t made to hold everything, especially small items that fall through the slats. It’s just an added convenience. Yes, I had issues in the beginning with this sink, but the great customer service solved all of that. And even with the draining issue (which I hope they address) I love the sink.

Oh my god….What can I say about this sink??,IT’S FANTASTIC!!!,We went from a shallow Stainless Steel Sink to this amazing beauty of a workstation sink.,We had always dreamed of a Farm Sink with an apron that requires a special under cabinet. WE SAVED A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY finding this Work Station Sink instead.,We just measured the old dual Sink, got prepared to do a bit of counter top enlarging when it arrived and to our amazement and some luck we didn’t have to.,We installed the OWOFAN Kitchen Faucet with pull down sprayer and a detergent pump on our work sink..,Yes we have a dishwasher but we now find ourselves washing dishes by hand more often due to the sink’s huge size and the drying rack and Callander that came with it make those items great for air drying.,Guys/Ladies if you are fishermen or butcher your own meats the cutting board that comes with the sink fits right into the track of the sink for easy prepaid clean up!!!,Lastly……Construction of the sink is heavy gauge…..Not enough to bust your back on the install but extremely durable and hard to dent on the inside. The weight of it allows for the sealer you should put underneath the edges of the sink to grant a great water proof seal.,If you’re in the market for a workstation sink, choose the appropriate size after measuring clearances and buy this Sarlai!!!

I really like this gunmetal sink. The listing calls it black stainless, really elegant and different from what I normally see in kitchens. The depth of it is spot on. Also the accessories make it perfect for utilizing space in a smaller kitchen. As for the cutting board- only a fool would continuously submerge or put it in a dishwasher. No wooden cutting board can hold up to that – so the reviews addressing this issue leads me to believe that this isn’t common knowledge. I am unable to attest to scratch resistance because it hasn’t been used very long – but it’s great so far.

The negative., The sink took a long time to get., The sink is very well packaged and protected on the sides and top… however, the bottom of the sink has absolutely no protection at all.,We received our sink only to find a nice quarter size dent on the bottom of the sink basin. The bottom of the box had a small puncture/dent in it from transit.,We return the sink and got a replacement, no rush delivery was available, so we had to wait another month.,The positive,The second sink we got, still did not have any bottom shipping protection (other than the box), but got to us un-damaged.,Ths sink was easy to install, and looks absolutely fantastic.,We love the 1 large sink basin, it holds many more dishes, and never looks full.,We also find that having the 1 large basin, it’s easier to do the dishes, compared to a double basin.,I cant say enough great thing about this sink.,We have had it installed about 2 months now, and it still looks great.,So in the end expect a long shipping wait time, (a few weeks), and get your sink early to make sure there is no damage, so you dont have to put the project on hold while you wait for a replacement to get to you.,Well worth the wait and the price!!

work station sinks make sense to me, large to fit any pan, do your cutting and rinsing right where you should be, the only area that needs to be addressed is the pitch to drain. You have to use a lot of effort to rinse down all the little pieces of food etc to the drain. Otherwise yo have to wipe out the entire sinks. It seems only common sense to me that they need to be designed so that everything flows easily to the drain. Simple

To start, this was the best packaged item I’ve ever received. Arrived quickly and in mint condition. I purchased the 28″ drop in for and upgrade to my kitchen with laminated counter top.,This sink is very well built and really makes the kitchen. Getting the bigger sink frees up and creates more space when using the cutting board and drying rack. All said and done you will love it, but good luck installing it.,Removing the old sink, cutting the countertop and installing the disposal mount and faucet are straight forward and easy. That said, 90 percent of my time was spent installing the clips. There in no room to install them from underneath, buy you can pre install the front and back and drop the sink in. The sides you can get by lifting the sink up an inch or so, and slipping the clips in and locking in place with a screw drive. Once installed, you need several extensions on the screw driver in order to reach. After this trial though if you have laminated counter tops you find that fully tight, the clips don’t travel far enough to grip the counter top. This is a big design flaw. The entire clip design is poorly thought out and makes for a nightmare that in the end doesn’t work. Home intaller beware. Regardless, the clips are installed to no good, but the sink is caulked in and not going anywhere.,All installed it looks great, and I love the functionality of the board / strainer / drying rack. The sink is high quality and really makes for a more functional kitchen.

I had a difficult time selecting a sink for my kitchen remodel, soooo many sinks to choose from! I did a lot of research, quality, price point, materials used etc, I finally pulled the trigger on this sink after many comparisons and after 6 months of use I decided I could write a honest review., This sink was easy to install, just be sure your counter top can receive it by observing the depth and width requirements provided when selecting. The material the sink is made from is good quality unlike other stainless sinks I have installed in the past. It doesn’t scratch easily, it cleans easily, it is thick enough it doesn’t flex or dent like common kitchen sinks. It really looks great also. Very modern look but not overwhelmingly fancy. I like the depth and size is great for pots and pans.,Cons: my opinion is I don’t have anything I consider a con, it’s a great product for me! It may or may not be for someone else but if you read my review above and looking for the quality’s I went by you shouldn’t be unhappy with this purchase! I also get a lot of use from the included drying rack and cutting board and I use the included basket every day!

Very nice looking sink however, the cutting board becomes water damaged very easily. The stainless bin is great too so we left it as part of the sink and used it to collect silverware ready for the dishwasher……..but the grate at the bottom (which helps reduce scratches on the bottom) TRAPS the silverware under it if you just toss it in the sink. Difficult to get out from under it. The grate also collects bigger things like spaghetti and prohibits its journey to the drain. The biggest issue is the bottom is pretty much level and doesn’t drain well at all. The silverware bin once you slide it aside after being there for a few days will reveal a disgusting collection of debris that was hidden under it and not going down the drain. So the sink is often dirty if not scrubbed every other day. The best thing about the sink is the concept and the look and the price, the function seems to have been missed. If they tested their sinks they should have noticed it.,To conclude, I would LOVE this sink if It was better engineered.,Piece of advice that would help the draining issue. Buy a faucet set that includes a spray function with a long hose. That way it will be long enough to get BEHIND the debris that won’t drain due to the bottom being so level. That way you can water sweep to the drain.

Product is well built, very attractive and definitely was an upgrade for us. High quality stainless steel. 16 Gauge thickness is very nice to have compared to 18. The workstation attachments are perfect, present well and are very useful. Sink looks Deo and quite spacious.,I suggest a few changes to the product design. The overmount lip that sits on the counter is a bit narrow to accommodate the bull nose of the granite cutout. We faced this when we tried to replace our dated undermount double sink (see third picture). A 1/2″?More overlap on each side will be useful.,The second change I will suggest is to have a greater slope of the bottom surface to drain the water easily. The channel form of the bottom is simply not adequate. Water does remain on the bottom and drys out potentially spot forming.,Other than the above the product is well worth it.

This is a very fine sink, especially at the price point. The accessories or a bit cheap, the wood for the cutting board and the slides on the strainer is very dry and not well sealed. The roll up rack is made from thin wall tube (moderately flexible). The finish on all aspects is excellent, and overall presentation is gorgeous. My reason for four stars is mainly due to the clips used for fastening it down are a huge pain to put on compared to other manufacturers. If for any reason you are forced to install the clips after the sink has been set into the counter be ready scream most, if not all obscenities in the book. Overall very pleased.
